Our server was awesome shout out to Gina ,she was busy but didn’t forget us it was a Wednesday so it was busy btw kids eat free Wednesday. I ordered the three amigos flavorful seasonings were on point. My husband had the sampler . We both agreed lots of flavor in the food.

In from out of town with the fam (2 adults, 2 kids, 1 toddler). Our waiter (Fernando) was the most attentive waiter I’ve had ANYWHERE in a very long time. My husband loved his food but he loves everything so we aren’t focusing on his thoughts. We got queso, it was so creamy and not heavy like most places. I love that they gave side plates with it so not everyone was reaching in and over. I had the crispy chicken flauta (I probably spelled that wrong), they were perfectly crispy on the outside & didn’t fall to pieces even though the inside was the absolute opposite texture. The jalapeno (jam? Jelly?) was the perfect sweet sauce to add that still had a light kick. My kids (who eat literally nothing) cleared their plats (they both got burritos). My toddler just got rice & fruit: but more of the rice made it into her mouth than on the floor (if you have or had toddlers you get it). If I come back to the area I will 100% be stopping again. Even though I have moved further away from Chevys, I still go almost every week. Their happy hour is AMAZING! I love the staff, especially Sam. Such a great bartender who makes sure everyone is taken care of. And, the food is sooo good and fresh! This neighborhood bar is perfect if you love Fresh Mex like I do, and they won't let you miss any game! Also, it's good to have that nostalgic feel.

We went here looking for good food and we got more than that. The drinks were amazing and not super expensive. The food was amazing, and that's even an understatement. Most importantly, the server was extremely helpful and polite and went the extra mile. This restaurant is definitely one to return to!!!

Fantastic (and HUGE) margaritas like it was the size of my head but so flipping good - I got a strawberry margarita and was definitely tipsy by the time I finished it. Bomb chips and salsa, flavorful smother burritos and excellent fajita plates too. The veggies were fresh and crisp, the rice was packed with flavor and so were the black beans! Meat was juicy and cooked perfectly

OMG I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE TONIGHT! Before I moved to Minnesota my girls and I stumbled across Chevy’s Fresh Mex. It was across the street from our hotel and we were looking for Mexican food and drinks without having to go in the Mall of America. Well needless to say we feel in love and it became an annual girls trip twice per year. Then right before my son’s first birthday my family and I moved to Minnesota, so to celebrate of course we went to Chevy’s and I was mind blown by the experience! Sombreros, tambourines, and singing! It was an experience like no other! So now that we live here it became a family tradition. However last year we had a horrible experience that left me heartbroken we had a horrible server and the manager wasn’t very much help. As content creators I felt horrible sharing my horrible experience but I wanted to be transparent about what happened and how it made me feel. This year I was so sad because every year my son had a tradition of eating at chevys but after last year I couldn’t bring myself to eat there again! Seeing me so distraught about it a friend suggested calling the restaurant and sharing my feelings and giving them a second chance so we did! I called before heading there and I was surprised to be greeted by such a friendly manager and waitress. We didn’t have to ask for anything and the full experience from food to atmosphere to cleanliness to customer service exceeded my expectations! Not to mention my children were so happy! Thank you manager Diana and the team for making our birthday the best ever. I truly appreciate how the waitress was so patient and friendly with my children as well. Always delicious! I've been eating at Chevy's for over a decade. No where else in Minnesota compares. Delicious, fresh, perfect temperature, and unsurpassed flavor. I now live out of state but a dash to Chevy's is always on the priority list when visiting MN. The chicken chimichanga is a family favorite, along with the steak fajitas.

I'm from Dallas and this place hits to hard when Emily ask was everything ok we had an understanding without words being said fire next time im in the city I will be in for another dish
